Karazhan Minimum Requirements
Zampana over on the WoW forums has a great list of all the class requirements for a group to go into Karazhan. I highly recommend meeting these minimums.
Copied, reformatted, and put here. Saving posts for the children. Also added in comments for missing specs.
Slots
- 2 tanks
- 3 healers (priority to 1 priest 1 druid 1 paly)
- 1 mage
- 1 warlock
- 1 hybrid dps/healer (oomkin/shammy/s.priest/feral/r.paly)
- 2 dps
- gear requirements, all unbuffed except where noted
Priests (healing)
- these numbers are assuming some healing talents
- +healing: 1250
- Mana regen: 100 mana/5 while casting
- HP: 5000 Mana: 7500
Warrior
- 490 defense, or more. This is NOT negotiable
- 11k hps, unbuffed. No commanding shout
- 11k armor. < updated 2.22.07 by bej
- More hps/armor is better.
- Prot spec preferred, until gear can catch up. Anything so far
Druid (healing)
- 1000 +healing
- 100 mp5 regen in combat (by the in game stats tab thingy) unbuffed.
- 6000 health (~250 stam or +170 from base)
- 7500 mana (~360 int, or +140 from base)
Warlock
- 500+spell dmg (all dmg, not just shadow)
- 5%+spell hit
- 12%+spell crit
- 350 stam
- 350 int
Mages, Shadow Priests, and Boomkins
- 6k health
- 8.5k mana (no AI)
- 550+ spell damage
- 6%+ hit
- 15%+ crit
- these stats are for mage, but work well for s.priests and boomkins. For example, S.priests probably dont need to hit 15% crit since mindflay is incapable of crit anyways. The spell dmg and hit% is a must however
Rogue
- >7k hp
- > 1100 ap
- > 8 hit
- > 24 crit
- perferably a pair of 71 dps weapons.
Paladin (all)-
- AC > 9.5k all the time
- Def > 450 when tanking (offtanking)
- HP > 6.5k (9k when offtanking)
When healing
- Healing > 900
- Regen > 80/5
- Mana > 8k
- for ret, we dont have a standard yet made. If you wish to qualify for this, you’ll have to prove your lvl 70 gear progression is nearly complete and we’ll use that as the standard
Paladin Retribution
- 25% crit
- 1500 Attack power
- 90 hit /w Precision talent or 185 hit without
Hunter
- 7500 HP *likely far too high, this is in debate
- 200 Intellect
- 1800 Attack Power
- 5% +Hit
- 18% +Crit
Druid Tank
- Unbuffed
- 12k Health
- 20k Armor
- 415 Defense with Survival of the Fittest 3/3 (most serious Bear Tanks will have this)
- 28% Dodge (most of us get way past this very easily)
Druid DPS
- Buffed stats is okay
- 2200 Attack Power, roughly balanced with Crit
- 30% Crit, roughly balanced with AP
- 7k Health

This is assuming your a pve spec’ed ALLIANCE pally lol….the BE’s have a different seal they use to dps called seal of blood, whereas us allys use seal of command. I beleive spell dmg is more important to them, but i dont know lol
