Updated About page with different nonsense.

Updated Forums software version and added Wowhead links.

The About page has been updated to be less useless.

Also the word flupdate for flux update, rather than the more contentious fluxdate, has been provisionally approved by language regulators. This of course was immediately and unofficially contracted to flup to further obscure it’s meaning and confound. A shell shortcut by this name was deemed entertaining but wholly unnecessary at this time.

I originally debated on whether or not to incorporate a blogroll here, but choose not to for a couple reasons. There are too many good sites out there that I wasn’t familiar with. The number of gaming blogs, especially for World of Warcraft is epic. Eventually I would like to have a resource for them. But it will likely be a link page with some addition information, which is more in line with what we want to provide.

However blogrolls are important. And we appreciate being including in them even if we are going to be pretentious and not have one.

More to the point, Sean over at Lost In The Grind has kindly included us in his blogroll. As far as we know, this is the first blogroll we are in. Thanks, for the link.

Copied the gear quality and item level by location chart to its own page for easy reference.

I opened up the blog and forums to the public earlier today. Hopefully this doesn’t mean we will get spammed by bots. I also took some measures to prevent it and we’ll see how it goes.

There are some rough edges we are still working. For example, the ads were just enabled so we are getting some mis-targeted ones. That should clear up soon. I will also be blacklisting the gold selling ads as fast as we can.

So some new folks might drop by to read and post. If you haven’t been here before, Welcome!

Made some improvements to the site to support a semi-regular blog about games. At first this is going to be about World of Warcraft, you know the 800lb gorilla of MMO’s. If we get time we’ll get in articles about other games or topics, maybe. You will probably see updates on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting in a week, in addition to whatever other days someone feels like ranting about something.

Updated, rearranged, and retconned the forums so visitors can register and post in the general area.
